I suspect that like most people looking at the MAM, I was using the Wraith Prism to cool my Ryzen, and while it's a great stock cooler, it's definitely not the best air cooling solution out there.

And it's rather noisy. As someone who prefers using air, I started looking at the best alternatives, and this one checked a lot of the boxes I had. I wanted a quiet, solidly-performing air solution that looked good, or at least wouldn't look bad. That is precisely what this cooler is. As for the looks, I personally think that this is the best-looking air cooler out there.

It just looks And it looks as good in person as you hope it will. The RGB has sleek lines, and isn't in-your-face like so many others. I have been backing off from RGB in my builds lately and this is just the right amount, I think. It's big. Cooler height is listed as mm, and that appears to be correct.

My Lian Li Lancool II case has a cooler clearance of mm, and the cooler comes about 1 cm from the glass. Check your case's clearance before ordering this, as clearance can be an issue with big coolers like this. As tall as it is, though, it doesn't seem overly bulky, and all RAM and nearby headers are accessible. So it's tall, but not particularly bulky otherwise.

In all of my testing, this thing has been very, very quiet. At idle, I can't hear it. While doing a stress test, I can barely hear it if I put my head up to the case. While gaming I can't hear it at all over the GPU fan noise.

It's good. I'd say it isn't the best out there, but it is good and definitely an improvement over the Prism. At idle it's running around 40 C. While running CPU-Z stress test for 20 minutes, it's topping out at While gaming Borderlands 3 for 30 minutes it's capped at 60 C. These temps are all degrees C lower than i was getting with the Prism.

All while running silently and looking good while doing it. Pretty good, not quite great, but good enough for what I want to do. Although to be honest, with PBO enabled on these Ryzen chips, that's probably not necessary or even really worth it But I think that if you choose to do so, this cooler will give you some headroom.

As for installation, I don't get why anyone would have a problem with this. The instructions are very clear, although I didn't even need to use them. Took me 15 minutes and I didn't have to remove my motherboard, although if you can't access the back of your board inside the case you will have to remove it. The baseplate is loose as other reviewers have mentioned, but it tightens up when you actually mount the tower, so that's normal. All in all, installation was a breeze - possibly the easiest I've ever installed.

It may not be the best performer in this class, but it performs well with zero noise and looks very good doing it. Well that's up to the buyer, for to me it's worth it. I don;t regret getting this over some of the others in this class I was looking at. If you're only after the best performance per dollar, look elsewhere. But if you want a good balance in performance, noise, and appearance, this one does the trick.

I looked all over for any reviews or youtube videos of this cooler to see if anyone had experienced what I had. I couldn't find anything so I feel like I should let people know what mine was doing. The cooler looks great and I bought it cause of its unique design. I sent it back and got a different style RGB CPU cooler and it had much thicker cooling fins that are less susceptible to vibrating. Admittedly, I only purchased this as I wanted air cooling and the Be Quiet!

So far temperatures seem very reasonable, 30s with no load, s under medium working load, though I have yet to run any benchmarks to really put heavy load on the Ryzen and generate extra heat. I almost returned the cooler thinking I received a defect, especially as no mention of the loose fit in the manual, but Cooler Master confirmed the loose fit is by design via email so I kept it.

I still shimmed the mount with plastic washers to tighten the fit before completing install. The loose plastic mount is why I removed a star. Update after 6 months This cooler has been problem free for 6 months including keeping temps under control through long gaming and rendering sessions. Moving review to 5 stars. Jay Man Top Contributor: Cooking. Upgraded to this cooler and you can see the difference in size from my pic.

Idle temp is way lower, but playing Apex Legends really runs hot. Installing was easy and took about 20 minutes. Things to look out for: 1 Make sure you have room. It is a large cooler that almost touches the glass of my case. I had to move my ram to accommodate this cooler. My ram sticks are admittedly really tall.. I had to unmount it the first time because I did the lazy thing and tightened them clockwise.

The plugs are different. I did not notice this when I ordered it, but thankfully the included ARGB controller worked for me, so I did not have to return it. I didn't run into any problems, but I see how some of the pictures may be confusing. There is a gentle hum, especially when gaming. I don't find this distracting, but if you need a totally silent cooler, then there are other options for silent air coolers, such as a noctua.

Have had a bunch of air coolers and aio's in the past this one is by far the best. But it's large for some cases. Let's make this review simple.. Pros:- - it looks extremely cool without being over flashy. Still runs cool and quietly around 50 degrees!! Which is great! Cons:- - It's bigger in comparison to rival air coolers - because of its size, make sure it fits in your case, some motherboards may block you installing it as the base if some motherboards are big. You're paying the premium of it looking great in the case, I have not seen another that's as smart and subtle as this one while bringing in excellent results.

I am using this with a x overclocked to on all cores at 1. This was easy to install but the Asus Aura sync support that is claimed by Cooler Master on the box did not work on my Asus rog strix ze gaming motherboard because the fan's 3 socket rgb connector does not match the 4 pin rgb on the motherboard.

One person found this helpful. I liked the look of the cooler and the rgb is really good, however it was a bit of a pain to install, as youll have to move the fans to fit it onto the motherboard, just pay attention to the fans as you will have to flip one around to prevent air flow issues inside your case, it also tall enough to fit your ram under as long as you dont have very tall ram dimms Likw most PC components, the manual that comes with it was lacking and could be more clear or easy to understand.

Amazon Advertising Find, attract, and engage customers. Cons: This is a patience tester and difficult to initially set due to the tiny screws that attach it to the mounting bracket. Equal distribution of pressure is hard to obtain since the outer screws never seem to stop turning, so it is possible to over tighten.

In comparison to what Ive read about this cooler, I think Im getting above average results. I am using an eATX case for more airflow so that helps. Also only a gpu underneath so not much heat there either. Sold by: Newegg Shipped by Newegg.

But I am not able to find any TDP info about this cooler anywhere on the web. Some comment in one of the review videos suggested that its a competitor to the Arctic 34 duo but that too is a bit confusing. Thanks in advance. CountMike Titan. Oct 31, 30, 2, , 7, Tito77 said:. Oh ok.
